Philosophy of Care: I believe in preventative care, and Pediatrics embodies the essence of that philosophy. It is far more beneficial for our health to get ahead of a disease process than to do damage control later. I follow and practice the principles of osteopathic medicine, which tell us to treat the patient as a whole person, not just a medical problem. I also think that it is important to let the body self-heal when it can, minimalize interventions to when medically necessary.
