Kelsey Johnson is a Rapid City native who graduated from Stevens High School. She received a scholarship to play soccer at the University of Central Arkansas where she completed her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in nursing. While pursuing her Advanced Nurse Practitioner (APN) degree, she worked in an inpatient rehabilitation facility and was a clinical instructor for the undergraduate nursing program at the University of Central Arkansas. After graduating with her APN degree in 2015, she felt a natural attraction towards the field of Orthopedics and Sports Medicine. She has been working as full-time practitioner for Monument Health Orthopedics since 2016. Kelsey has a passion for helping people and getting to know her patients on a personal level. She enjoys working with patients of all ages and hearing their stories. She is happily married with two sons. Kelsey and her family love exploring the Black Hills and all things outdoors, including hiking, biking, snow-skiing, fishing and camping at the lake. Kelsey is an active member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.
