Dr. Benson, whom is a long standing Sarasota Psychotherapist and Counselor, works collaboratively with other local therapists in Sarasota to offer comprehensive marriage, couples and family therapy as well. Dr. Benson specializes in the treatment of trauma, grief and loss, body images & eating disorders, anxiety, depression, phase of life issues, and disorders of the self. She is also an approved addictions provider for Major League Baseball. In addition to her private practice Dr. Benson works side by side with Sarasota Addiction Specialists, an Intensive Outpatient Program for substance abuse and dependence. Together, Dr. Benson, alongside Mr. Dave Forestier and Mr. Cole Young; whom are Certified Addiction Counselors, provide comprehensive treatment for people seeking recovery from active addiction.
