• In the heart of historic downtown Brecksville, Chippewa Place offers a haven of senior living, a retirement community with independent home-like apartments and engaging amenities to keep you active. Our red-brick, Colonial-style building features 100 rentable full-size one-bedroom and two-bedroom apartments over four floors within the facility. It’s nestled into a picturesque ravine behind town square overlooking the Metroparks, close enough to Chippewa Creek that you can hear the rushing waters through an open window. We may be a retirement home, but there’s really nothing “retiring” about us! Our cheerful and welcoming brand of independent senior living opens the door for residents to participate in a myriad of pursuits, from bingo and Wii bowling to chair yoga, tai chi, music nights and field trips to favorites such as the Rocksino and Amish Country. Those with a green thumb can putter around in our attached climate-controlled greenhouse. And our beautiful chapel plays host to several different faiths that offer services. We know everyone’s name and make sure all are welcome to the neighborhood! Daily Continental breakfast and dinner are included in the monthly rent, which is more competitive than most senior homes in the area. Though independent living is our sweet spot, we also want our residents to have the option of aging in place, so we balance that with health and supportive services. Doctors, specialists and hospice care all come to us. Security and peace of mind matter, too, and our residents can relax knowing that someone from our staff is on-duty 24/7.
