Established in 1973, Barre Family Health Center in Barre is staffed by specialists in family and prenatal care. Patients who require specialty care, testing or hospitalization have direct access to the region’s premier medical specialists and facilities at UMass Memorial Medical Center in Worcester. Barre Family Health Center also serves as a residency training site for family medicine for the University of Massachusetts Medical School. Barre is the sole provider of health care for the people of Barre and its surrounding communities. Our location is also recognized as a level 3 (highest possible) Patient-centered Medical Home by the National Council on Quality Assurance (NCQA). We also provide visits to Holden Nursing Home and local schools.
