• The goal for this practice is to provide up-to-date psychiatric care for the men, women and children who need to address psychological problems and challenges in Southern Jersey. When a person experiences a significant degree of distress, psychiatry can offer a comprehensive means of help. I work together with patients of all ages to relieve emotional distress and to manage problems of the mind. There are four perspectives of psychiatry: 1) The medical or disease model; 2) Behavioral models; 3) Life event models, and 4) The dimensions of personality. Each perspective provides a unique path to understanding the individual's or family's difficulty in life. These perspectives may be used alternately or consecutively to guide the therapy.
