• on Elston has been involved in real estate as an investor, owner or agent since he received his Bachelors of Science degree in Real Estate from the University of Arizona in 1982 (with two additional majors in Finance and Business Management). Go Wildcats! He began his sales career selling snow skis in Tucson, AZ. during college. Ron was literally learned to negotiate while in high school overseas in Singapore where virtually every purchase was a negotiated transaction. His leadership abilities developed early while in high school where he was captain of three different sports teams and earned nine sports letters. In 2011, Ron was voted “Best Realtor of MetroNorth” and, more recently, received the prestigious Five Star Professional Award from 5280 Magazine in 2012. During his career, Ron has sold and closed over 500 properties and over $150,000,000 worth of real estate. Originally, Ron joined Perry & Butler Realty in 1993 as a Broker Associate ranking as high as #8 out of 350 agents during just his first two years in the business. In 1996, Ron was promoted to Broker/Branch Manager of the company’s North Suburban office where he oversaw literally thousands of real estate sales transactions. Ron joined Keller Williams Preferred Realty in 1998 as a Broker/Owner of the company and continues to be one of the highest producing agents in the entire Colorado region. Keller Williams has been the fastest growing real estate company in the nation for the past two decades and now with over 800 franchise offices and 80,000 agents. In 2012, Keller Williams became the #1 real estate company in the United States and in North America. In addition to Ron's extensive real estate experience, his previous background includes extensive lending experience as a Loan Officer and Assistant Branch Manager at First Interstate Bank and as Vice President of Marketing and Sales at Management Solutions, Inc. (MSI), an international computer software company based in Denver. Outside of his real estate activities, Ron enjoys the fitness training and discipline of TaeKwon-do, is a 3rd degree black belt and has been a member of the United States TaeKwon-do Federation’s Demonstration Team. He also enjoys skiing, golf and working out. Ron is very active within his church having volunteered on numerous committees as well. Ron and his wife, Pam, have a wonderful seventeen year-old boy named Cory and a beautiful fourteen year-old girl named Carissa. Ron considers himself to be truly Blessed!
