Established in 1976 by Bonnye and Melvin Powers, Power's Jewelry is a locally owned, third generation family business. Travis Powers the owner and son Duane who is third generation run the day to day operations of the repair and retail side of the store. Both attended the Texas Institute of Jewelry Technology in Paris, Texas. It is one of the oldest and most comprehensive, hands-on jewelry technology schools in the United States. They provide certified, professional jewelry and watch repair, one of the few repair shops of its kind anywhere in this region.
