• Monique Brown, MD, is a family medicine and aesthetic practice in Rocky Mount, North Carolina. Dr. Brown provides comprehensive medical care that encompasses a patient’s entire well-being, taking into consideration the interconnectivity of her patients’ spiritual, emotional, and physical health. At her practice, Dr. Brown provides general medical care for the entire family, including physical exams and sick visits for men, women, and children. She also offers mental health and psychiatric evaluations, concentrating on her patient’s emotional and spiritual health. Dr. Brown understands the connection between weight and health and offers a weight management program she calls God’s Plan. The family medicine and aesthetic practice is also equipped with some of the most advanced aesthetic tools available, including SculpSure® to melt unwanted pockets of fat and TempSure™ Envi to erase lines and wrinkles. Both tools enhance natural beauty without surgery or downtime. Dr. Brown received dual undergraduate degrees in anthropology and interdisciplinary social sciences with a concentration in community mental health from the State University of New York at Buffalo. She completed her medical degree at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia, where she remained for her internship in general medicine, her residency in general psychiatry, and her fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry.
