  • Since 1983, the Long Island Violin Shop (LIVS) has provided material support for three generations of LI musicians as the premier full-service shop for violins, violas, cellos, basses & their bows. In addition to an unparalleled selection of traditional and electric instruments for sale and rental, The LIVS carries a wide array of bows, strings, cases, accessories, sheet-music and just about anything else a string player could need. A full suite of services is also provided to the string community including luthier, repair and maintenance services, music lessons, appraisals, consignments and bow-rehairing.
