  “Don’t skimp on the pampering and beauty. The memory and photos of this special day will last forever.” The beauty industry veteran says, “Brides should set aside a minimum of two hours in their packed wedding day schedule for hair and make-up, book an appointment at least a month in advance and test out the final look.”
  ” We always suggest a run-through appointment before the big day so the bride is able to try out the hair and makeup to make sure it is everything she always dreamed of,” says Shahabi, who adds that “this also lets bride address any changes or additions she’d like to make.”
  ” For 20 years I have dedicated my life to hair and color assignments for print, catalogs and wedding publications, not leaving any time for private appointments. Only in the last five years have I returned to see private hair clients. In addition to establishing my flagship salon and spa I am the lead master colorist and stylist specializing in formal updo’s and weddings”
