About Us

  • Managing Partner Eleanor Beatty brings to the firm two years of law clerk Legal Aid experience, one year in Clackamas County with Beloof and Haines, followed by 10 years as a partner in Koho and Beatty, Attorneys at Law, which dissolved in early September 2016.  Ms. Beatty’s practice focuses on domestic relations, estate planning and indigent defense.

Eleanor is joined by Partner Weisha Mize, whose 30+ year career includes work with Oregon Legal Services and Lane County Legal Aid, legal counsel to the Confederated Tribes of the Umatilla Indian Reservation, 15 years as an Oregon Administrative Law Judge in water law matters, and 12 years in administrative compliance work with various state agencies.  In addition to dom rel and estate planning with an emphasis on the LGBTQ community, Ms. Mize focuses on administrative practice, landlord-tenant law, Social Security Disability and water and marijuana law.

Rounding out the firm’s legal staff is our Associate, Linda Kendrick, who clerked for three years with Koho and Beatty before obtaining her license in both Washington and Oregon.  Ms. Kendrick is the firm’s civil litigator focusing on business and contract law, business transactions, and Social Security Disability. Ms. Kendrick also serves as the City Attorney for Aurora.

Holding us all together is Theresa Whisenhunt, legal assistant and office manager extraordinaire with over 10 years of business management and accounting experience.
