• Ed Portley is a licensed massage therapist, Pa Lic# MSG002013, who is nationally certified by the National Certification Board of Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (http://www.ncbtmb.org/). He provides massage therapy to a wide range of individuals from various backgrounds. He utilizes techniques that have been proven effective for reducing or eliminating pain and discomfort due to medical conditions such as carpal tunnel syndrome, fibromyalgia and sciatica to name a few. Ed is a massage educator with 6 years experience teaching more than 300 students to become licensed massage therapists. He currently teaches advanced techniques to massage therapists through continuing education, which is required for massage therapists to renew their licenses. Ed is certified in prenatal massage and is a certified Reiki Master-Teacher. He has been trained in Touch For Health 1. He is a CPR Instructor for the American Red Cross He is trained in Emotional Freedom Technique (http://www.emofree.com/) and (http://www.eftuniverse.com). He has completed the advanced level of training and is able to assist individuals who would like to try an alternative technique to help relieve emotional issues. Due to his belief that healing the mind and soul as well as the body, he as now incorporated EFT, Touch For Health and other energy healing methods to his practice. His office is located in Knowles Commons, 260 Knowles Rd, Southampton, Pa inside Southampton Chiropractic, Dr Fiordaliso, Chiropractor. He was instructed in the art of massage therapy at the National Massage Therapy Institute in Philadelphia (http://www.studymassage.com/) and started his business in January of 2006. He is insured by the American Bodyworks and Massage Professionals (http://www.abmp.com/) . Ed is a member of the Touch for Health Kinesiology Association. He chose this profession because he enjoys making people pain free and help them to lead healthier lives. His massage allows people more independence and freedom to move around with out any restrictions. He plans to help people to be pain free well into the future.
