Check out the aquaculture process and learn all about this exciting new farming venture. JT Shrimp uses a unique recirculating water aquaculture system which is enclosed in their shrimp barn. JT Shrimp uses a zero exchange aerobic heterotrophic system to raise their shrimp. This process includes running the water through several filters to take out unwanted bacteria, algae, and viruses. The water is re-circulated and therefore does not generate waste water. Great care is taken in making sure that the water is at the proper levels to ensure the growth and quality of the shrimp. This zero exchange system makes the water as close as possible to a shrimp's natural habitat, minus all of the pollutants. No hormones, chemicals or antibiotics are added to the shrimp, making JT Shrimp's products much healthier than those bought in the grocery store.
