About Us

  • Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (OMFS) is a healthcare specialty with both dental and medical components. After four years of dental education, an oral surgeon will spend up to six years completing his/her surgical training in medicine, surgery, and anesthesiology. As oral and maxillofacial surgeons, we treat a wide variety of conditions affecting the mouth, jaws, bone and soft tissues of the face. These include dentoalveolar surgery (such as wisdom tooth extraction), dental implant surgery, minor and major bone grafting, and orthognathic and reconstructive jaw surgery. Our scope of care also includes diagnosis and treatment of oral pathology (lesions and tumors of the mouth and jaws) and the management of maxillofacial trauma and facial pain. Anesthesia is a core element of our training and our daily practice. We are licensed to provide patients with conscious and deep sedation and general anesthesia in the office setting. Having extensive medical and anesthesia training allows oral surgeons to understand the impact of systemic conditions on anesthesia and surgery and to manage these conditions along with the help of primary care physicians and other medical specialists, in the perioperative period. Mission Statement The mission of our practice is to provide you, our patient, with the highest level of care and compassion. It is our responsibility to listen and provide information that will help you make an informed decisions about the treatment you choose. We strive every day to earn the trust you have placed in us.
