What is the difference between an exclusive agent versus a broker? Representing only one company will led to many road blocks for quality services. Examples include: exclusive agents can only represent and sell insurance from one company, exclusive agents ultimately cannot service all types of business clients due to product limitations, the products of exclusive agents are not diversify, there is only one price for each product they sell, and ultimately exclusive agents cannot represent clients in their best interest because they cannot shop for prices and products with more than one company.
