Why did you choose to specialize in Gastroenterology? When I started training on the medical wards, my first rotation was on the gastro service. My first two attendings were among the most intelligent, thoughtful and impressive people I’d ever met. One became my personal advisor through the rest of medical school, my residency and fellowship. I wanted to be like them. Do you have a specialty of interest within GI? Esophageal disease, interventional GI, IBD Where did you study?
