About Us

• I was born in Merced, Ca. and raised in San Leandro, so I know the Bay Area very well. I originally obtained my Real Estate license in 1979 after I graduated from the University of the Pacific with a Teaching degree. My parents were real estate brokers, so I’m the second generation in the field. After attending U.O.P on a football schorlarship, I was not drafted. However, I was able to sign free agent contracts with the Minnesota Vikings and the San Francisco 49ers the following year. Unfortunatley, I was released by both teams but it was a great experience that I will always cherish. With football still being in my blood, I coached football and taught High school and college for a few years. After leaving Coaching/Teaching I started my Real Estate career with my parents firm. In 2004 I obtained by Real Esate Brokers license and founded D. Jones & Associates, Realtors. I’m a member of the California Association of Realtors, Delta Association of Realtors and Women’s Council of Realtors. A few of my disignations are e-Pro, C.D.P.E (Certifed Distress Property Expert) and C.P.R.ES (Certified Probate Real Estate Specialist). I’m constantly continuing my education by attending Real Esate training classes and seminars to stay on top of the current events and changes that occur almost daily in our society today. I enjoy supporting the community, especially kids programs. I guess the biggest highlight was being a co-founder in 2005 of the Delta Patriots Youth Football & Cheer program in Brentwood. I served as the Athletic Director and Head Varsity Football Coach. I’m proud to say the program has florished over the years since I left. I take pride in helping people whether it’s a first time buyer, invester, young adults or seniors. The more my clients understand the process the better they can be prepared. I have a 101 buyers and sellers guides that simplifes the process so my clients can understand what to expect. The biggest fear for most people is change and the unknown of that change. My philosophy is simple, I try to fill my clients with as much information as possbile so they can make an inteligent decision.
