About Us

  • Dr. Tomas G. Antonini leads the staff at the Central Texas Urogynecology and Continence Center in Austin, Texas. He recognizes his patients as unique individuals who deserve the utmost respect, as well as comprehensive medical care that addresses their needs, desires, and goals. He has a special interest in remaining up-to-date regarding the most effective treatment options available for his patients, especially in the area of incontinence, pelvic floor reconstruction, and minimally invasive techniques. Dr. Antonini encourages his patients to be active participants in their medical care and views them as partners rather than just another patient with a medical issue. Dr. Antonini is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology as well as female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery. He completed his OB/GYN residency at The University of Texas Health Science Center. Dr. Antonini then underwent a fellowship program in female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery at Baylor College of Medicine. Dr. Antonini is a highly trained surgeon with extensive skill who prefers personalized, patient-focused medical care rather than a more sterile, clinical approach to medicine. He takes the time to get to know his patients and concentrates on explaining a diagnosis thoroughly before moving on to the treatment phase.  He understands that women have unique health needs and encourages his patients to ask questions, and keep asking questions until they feel equipped to make appropriate choices about their health care.
