Dr. Antonov graduated from the First Moscow Medical Institute, where he spent significant time mastering the skills of microsurgery. He went on to complete his general surgery residency on the base of the United Centre of Surgery of Russia in Moscow, then completed training in vascular surgery and worked as an attending surgeon. After immigrating to the United States, Dr. Antonov worked as a house physician in Youngstown, Ohio. During this time, he met Dr. Paul Weiss, DO, one of the pioneers of hair restoration, and began his training as a hair transplant surgeon. He worked with Nu-Hart Hair Solution Company International for about seven years, where he was responsible for consults, assisting physicians, and performing surgical responsibilities in diverse cities around the world. After completing a residency in family medicine at Underwood Memorial Hospital, Dr. Antonov began working as an attending physician at Reading Hospital in Reading, Pennsylvania. He also returned to Nu-Hart Hair Solutions in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, as a hair transplant surgeon.
